Our work is spearheaded by John Hawken, the most experienced tantra teacher in the UK. John's journey into tantra began when he joined Jerzy Grotowski's theatre Laboratory in the 1970s. He returned from working with the radical Polish director to study the neo-Reichian principles of Bioenergetics. For ten years he worked as a body-centred humanistic psychotherapist for before training as a Tantra teacher with Margot Anand, founder of SkyDancing™ and author of “The Art of Sexual Ecstasy.” Margot licensed John to launch “SkyDancing Tantra UK,” which is now within the Tantra Laboratory umbrella. John leads workshops in the UK, Germany, and the Czech Republic. |

We launched Tantra Laboratory in 2000 as an umbrella organization to promote both John's classic Couples' Tantra SkyDancing workshops, John's new generation of Tantra & Transformation workshops, which are suitable for Couples and Singles alike, and our developing series of celebratory Celtic Tantra workshops. Tantra Laboratory also promotes, through Peer Group, through local organisations, and through its links with the London TantraLink, the regular practice of tantra among the growing tantric community in the UK, and in the European Community. It has especially strong connections with Tantra Tribe in the Czech Republic, and with Osho Tantra in Spain. |
