Our Celtic Tantra workshops continue the exploration of the Celtic Cycle of the year with this new workshop marking the Spring Equinox, the point in the year when light and dark are in perfect balance.  This year Easter and the Equinox fall at the same time, so we will be linking the theme of balance with the myth of descent and rebirth.   In the traditional masculine Christian tradition, Death and Life are seen as polar opposites, tragedy and triumph.  In the older, feminine, Celtic tradition, life & death are seen as part of a single cycle.  Embracing the dark, instead of fighting it, we also learn to embrace the light, and to experience, at this point in the year, their momentary equilibrium.

We will be drawing on John Hawken’s extensive background both in Tantric energy work and Shamanic practice, and on our own deep and loving connection with Hazel Hill Wood as guide and  mirror.
